Commute to work and other places you frequent: Where you work and other places you frequently visit should play a factor in your decision of where to buy a home in Salt Lake. A short commute allows for more time doing other things and saves you a lot in gas, wear and tear on your car and also reduces carbon emissions. Live close, drive less and spend more time with the people you care about. It's a better way!
Crime Rate: Something worth checking into
if you're not sure or concerned about this issue.

Old home or New home?: Most of the Salt Lake suburbs have homes that were built from 1950 to present day. In Salt Lake City the homes tend to be older homes built prior to 1950.
Finished or Fixer-upper?: If you don’t like house projects and can’t afford to pay contractors, you probably want a nicely finished home.
